How this calculator works
Rates are fetched from a live market data provider, cached for an hour, and pivoted through USD — so converting, say, INR to JPY internally goes INR → USD → JPY using the current mid-market rate. That's the same rate banks and exchanges reference before adding their own margin.
The rate you see is a mid-market reference rate, not what you'd get from a bank or exchange counter — those typically add a spread of 1–4%, so expect to receive somewhat less than this calculator shows when actually converting cash.
