Tip Calculator

The tip amount is simply your bill multiplied by the tip percentage. When splitting between more than one person, both the tip and the total bill are divided evenly across the group — this calculator doesn't account for people ordering unevenly-priced items, just an even split.

Tipping norms vary a lot by country and even by service type — 15-20% is typical at US restaurants, while it's far less common or already included in the bill in many other countries. Check local customs if you're somewhere new.
